Permanently Activate Windows Vista by Skip Activation with Patched TimerStop.sys Crack

1. Install Windows Vista Ultimate edition (or other edition) without product key.
2. Windows Vista needs to be applied with 2099-ReArm trick, so that the counter of minutes to no activation required period will not return to normal after reboot. Click on Start Orb button.
3. Select “All Programs”, then “Accessories”.
4. Right click on “Command Prompt, then select “Run as Administrator (A)”.
5. If User Account Control (UAC) prompt a warning message, click on “Continue”.
6. In the command prompt, type date and press Enter. You will see the following:

8. Next, type cscript slmgr.vbs -rearm. You will see something like the following:

9. Then reset the date of the system to current date again by typing date again. You will see the following:

10. Type in current date, i.e. 12/19/2006.
11. Exit from command prompt, but do not restart the computer.
12. Download StopTimer.zip, StopTimer.zip or StopTimer.zip.
13. Extract the downloaded archive file into a folder. It should contains “Vista test crack.exe” and “timerstop.sys”.
14. Execute or run the “Vista test crack.exe” by right click on “Vista test crack.exe”, and select “Run as Administrator (A)”.
15. Optional: Press in Test button, and it will pop up a message says 4 timers are stopped. At this time, the counter should be freezed, Check with slmgr.vbs -dlv command, with the minutes left should be the same after a few minutes interval. If it’s the case, continue with the following steps to run the crack every startup.
16. In the Vista test crack window, click on “Install” button. You will be prompted with “Service installed” message if everything is done properly and correctly. The crack will copy the patched stoptimer.sys to system folder and install a new service named “timerstop” to stop kernel-mode timers in spsys.sys system file.
17. Exit from the crack, and restart the computer.
18. The hacking is basically done. Next few steps to to verify that the activation grace period built-in countdown timer is actually stopped and disable the timers from working properly, and make sure that the crack is installed properly. After restart, log on to Windows Vista. Run for a few minutes.
19. Press on Windows + R keys.
20. Type slmgr.vbs -dlv to check the time left to activate Windows Vista. If the time left is 43200 minutes that’s mean the crack is successful.

Further information:

• The TimerStop vista test crack works on all 32-bit x86 Windows Vista edition such as Vista Ultimate and Vista Home Premium. Success rate in 64-bit (x64) environment is likely to be low.

Speed up XP

The tweaks mentioned below are for speeding up Windows XP.

Disable boot virus detection:
This feature is available for some motherboards. If enabled it will scan your boot sector for virus infection every time you start your system. As boot sector viruses are rare now, it is safe to disable it. Disabling it will also speed up the boot process.

To find out if you have it look in the ‘Advanced BIOS features’ section of your BIOS.

Change Boot Sequence:
For most PC’s the boot sequence is first set to CD-ROM and then to Hard drive. You can speed up your boot time by setting your OS-loaded hard drive as the primary boot device.

I suggest to disable other boot devices such as CD-ROM and Floppy.

Just remember to set CD-ROM as your primary boot device when you need to re-install Windows.


Disable XP load screen:
By disabling the load screen you can boost the bootup time by a couple of seconds, if not more. To disable the load screen, open the “msconfig” utility: go to Start>Run, type in “msconfig” and press [Enter]. In the sunsequent window, select the ‘boot.ini’ tab.

Check the /NOGUIBOOT option and press ‘Apply’. Restart Windows to see the effect.

The “Bootvis” utility was designed by Microsoft to help system manufacturers optimize the boot characteristics of Windows XP. It’s a free tool, and is available here.

Run the utility, go to ‘Trace’ menu and select ‘Next Boot + Driver Delays’. Bootvis will prompt a reboot. Reboot and wait for Bootvis to start again.

Go to the ‘Trace’ menu and select ‘Optimize System’. Reboot again and wait for Bootvis to complete its analysis. At the end of the analysis, your bootup time should be optimized.

Disable Disk Performance Counters:
Win XP comes with many inbuilt performance monitoring applications that constantly examine various parts of the system. This information can be of real use to a system adminstrator for collecting performance statistics. However, for a home user, these statistics hold no value and since the monitoring happens all the time, it consumes a good deal of system resources.

“Disk monitoring”, for example, happens in the background, and turning it off is advisable if you will not be using the performance monitoring applications. To turn it off, type in “diskperf -N” at a command prompt.

To bring up the command prompt: go to Start>Run, type in “cmd” and press [Enter].

Move the ‘My Documents’ Folder:
The ‘My Documents’ folder invariably ends up as the default repository of files for most Windows applications. Over a period of time, this folder starts bloating, and this, to a certain extend results in performance degradation. It might be a good idea to move the target location of the ‘My Documents’ folder to some other partition on the hard drive, or to a different drive.

To do so, right click on ‘My Documents’, and on the ‘Target’ tab, click on ‘Move’. In the subsequent dialog box, browse to the drive where you want to move the folder. Then click ‘Make New Folder’ to create a new folder, and name it appropriately. Click ‘Apply’ and then ‘Yes’.

Bypass Windows Vista Activation

Burn ISO from This Torrent
Reboot and set BIOS date to the year 2050.
Boot with the Vista DVD in drive.
Unplug internet.
When it asks you for the key leave the box blank and uncheck the box below.
Press next then press the No button.
Select Vista Ultimate and check the box below.
Press next and wait till it's installed.
It should reboot twice now.
When you get to the user account setup press SHIFT+F10
Type taskmgr
End process msoobe.exe
When you get to the login screen click the arrow and select restart.
When it get's to the screen where you select operating system press F8, select Safe Mode and press enter.
Right click on the taskbar and select properties.

Make your account and set time if needed.
Wait while it checks your computer.
Disable the Administrator account.
Restart.
Once you have logged in switch your internet back on.
You can run the Welcome Center in the control panel and click More Information to check your activation status.
It should remain at 30day until it reaches the date you set in the BIOS + 1 day
Windows is now fully active and you can do what you like.
